Wow what a busy month it’s been so far and April… Well that was pretty mental too !!! I’m so glad ure all loving the new hair 
of course I’ll be changing the colour soon as always. Not decided on a colour yet tho ! I’ve got an interesting month ahead with shoots with Ree Petra and at the end of the month a shoot with Lolly Badcock. After 5 years on tv it looks like I’ll be spicing things up and slowly easing myself into a bit of girl/girl naughty minx !!! Also this wednesday I’m off out with one of my bestest Buddies the gorgeous Ella, as far as I know we’re doing a fashion show for Ed Hardy ! How exciting… ! Well, back to reality and this morning I had to sort out an appointment for a diabetic check up. So that means in a couple of weeks it’s blood tests and being poked and prodded about just to make sure I’m still in some kind of working order. Keep your fingers crossed for me, won’t you?

I’ve been a type 1 diabetic for 7 years now, so all these hospital check ups have become pretty routine. To be honest with all those blood tests and 4 insulin injections a day I’m like a human pin cushion. Lol!
No worries Scott, i know a few people that are diabetic, so i’ve got a rough idea of what you have to go through, and by the way, i meant to say this before, but it’s good to see you on here aswell mate

Hi Mozza and Jay, hope you don’t mind me giving my opinion about the World Cup, for what it’s worth. I just have this feeling, which I’ve never had in previous competitions despite all the hype, that England could very well win it. And I’m one of life’s great pessimists! I just think we have so many good players at their peak and in good club form at present. Sure we’ll need a bit of luck and hope to steer clear of injuries but I think we shouldn’t fear anyone.
Alright scott. I think your right tbh. But I am still a bit fearful of spain. But if we can go to south africa with a clear indication of the striker playing with Rooney and our centre back partnership cemeted then we have got a real chance. What I’m dreading is Rio or terry picking up an injury. Cuz thats gonna mean playing dawson who is not much more than average or King who cannot play more than one game in a row. And of course we don’t mind you putting your opinion

I agree with you about the centre back pairing. You know better than me about Rio’s fitness, I just hope the scare over Terry midweek proves to be nothing more than just that and he comes through the cup final unscathed. Problem is he’s the kind of guy who’d still try to play even if he’d broken his leg. I did hear today Capello’s thinking about experimenting with 3 at the back which does concern me slightly considering what happened the last time England played that way.

Yeah, Mozza, I thought Chelsea deserved the win today but we made a right hard job of it. I was relieved to hear the final whistle. After hitting the woodwork so many times then conceding the penalty I thought it just wasn’t going to be our day. Thank god for Cech and Drogba though! And if Lamps was due a penalty miss I suppose it’s best to get it out of the way now.

Well, I had my diabetic check up this morning that I mentioned in a previous post and the good news is that all is ok. So that’s a relief and I can relax at least until my next appointment.
Apologies again for our briefest of chats the other night. There was a problem with my credit and I felt bad having to end the conversation before I even had the chance to raise an eyebrow.
The problem has been sorted now, so I’ll be raring to go next time.

Mine was alright, tho the last couple of hours dragged a bit, so i was glad to get back home and fall into bed. Managed to get a good days sleep aswell
so now i’m fit, ready and raring (huh!!) to go and do it all again tonight…can’t wait…on second thoughts, i think maybe i can!!

I’m alright, slept through another sunny day yesterday before heading round a mates for a bit of a blitz on the guitars, which was good
Apart from that, it’s been a pretty uneventful day, lol, tho we Just had a bit of a thunderstorm going on here, so as you can imagine it’s all a bit hot and humid at the moment, so i don’t think i’ll be going to sleep anytime soon…just as well that you’re on tonight, i’d be lost without ya!!! lol

Just got back from seeing InMe live and it was honestly one of the best gigs of my life. They were absolutely phenomenal. It was made even more special by Dave saying that this was the last real tour they will be doing together and it was one of the last gigs of the tour. After this they are doing one tour where they just play through an album then they are calling it a night 
Gutted but at least they have gone out with a bang.

Yeah same mate. I never really heard of them before camilla posted the link. But when I heard that So you know I got right into them. Their first album is phenomenally good. Rather unsual which is why they pioneered “Nu Rock” but it is an absoluet cracker. You should listen to the intro to “Cracking the whip”. The tap solo at the start is simply awesome and when I saw Dave play it live, he does it so easily. Like he doesn’t have to try lol.
Alright Jay, i’ve officially retired mate, but if the call ever comes, i’ll be ready, and i’m sure work wouldn’t mind me going a.w.o.l. for a few weeks either!!

Just looked up Cracking the Whip on youtube, and yeah you’re right, there’s some top finger tapping going on there, there’s a good clip of him playing it at the ABC2 in Glasgow, kinda reminds me of Muse a bit, which is no bad thing

At the gig he did this thing when he played the intro of Cracking the whip with his head tilted back and a bottle of beer between his teeth and he finished the solo and the beer at the same time. Never seen anything like it. He is an exceptional musician.
Can’t say i’ve seen or heard of anyone else doing that either, sounds like a neat little trick tho Jay, think i might have to give it a go myself oneday

proper snoozefest of a game that was turning out to be…unsurprisingly it finished 0-0.

All’s well with me, just been enjoying my 2 days off, getting out & about, seeing friends and family and catching some sunshine too
