I got the new Editors album (still can’t believe how much they sound like Joy Division!), and Hook Me Up by The Veronicas. I dug Untouched the first time I heard it & liked the video, but the album was delayed so many times over here (it’s been out in their native Oz for 2 years) I bought their debut on import first. It’s more conventional girlie rock than the newbie, but not cheesy. I’d've liked to see them live while they were here, but couldn’t match time off with their tour dates. Good excuse for me to go back to Oz!

Do we need an entire Cure discography? Bah!
Hell, no – most days you can get by with just Faith & Staring At The Sea. (OK there are others, but I’m trying to keep this brief!) Oh, and any radio DJs who plays Friday I’m In Love at all – let alone on a Friday – deserve to be buried alive by Saturday morning, so we can still get to the ground for a pint before kick-off.

I tend to check out new stuff only now & again these days; mainly cos I don’t have much more storage room left, but also cos at some point you have to Just Stop – a mate of mine up in Leeds buys new & old like he runs Rough Trade Shops; his wife searches him for CDs when he gets home from work lol

I would definately recommend listening to the editors other albums lee. Their first (the back room) Is proper indie and the next (an end had a start) is a bit more easy listening (kind of). But there are so belting tunes on the back room.
